The Ortlerhof in the Stelvio National Park

The Ortlerhof is located directly in the Stelvio National Park and is therefore the ideal holiday home for everyone who likes to be out in the nature and the mountains! The Stelvio National Park is the second largest nature reserve in the Alps and around 40% of its area is in South Tyrol. Dense mountain forests, colorful meadows and green alpine pastures, but also high alpine glacier areas at just under 4000 m can be found in the Stelvio National Park, which invite you to go on adventurous hikes. For experienced mountain hikers, mountain tours in the Ortler-Cevedale Group are a must on a hiking holiday in Vinschgau Valley. A perfect destination for families.

Not far from the Ortlerhof is the Vinschgau cycle path, which is also known as the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path. The road built by the Romans was once an important trade route across the Alps. Today, part of this ancient route is an 80 km long cycle path from Malles to Meran, past castles, palaces and ancient sites.
